The weather was finally nice enough today for us to get out of the house. Even though everything is super wet and soggy from DAYS of rain, we decided to take a nature walk in these woods that are right behind our house. In some of the ponds that have been made by all the rain, we saw a ton of tadpoles. Trevor thought it was so cool because we had just read about tadpoles. He wants to go back when they are supposed to be frogs, so I told him I would figure out how long that would be so we can go see if we can find frogs. Being the Fernwood girl I am, I caught one so he could get an up close look at one. As soon as I put it back in the water, the big momma frog came up and poker her head out of the water at me...I am pretty sure she was swearing at me for touching her baby.
We also so ALOT of deer tracks, some were fairly big. We saw turkey tracks too, but I didn't take any pics of those.
Then he said, "Hey mom, get a picture of me hitting daddy!" Okay, I am all for that ;)
