Today was HOT! So the boys thought it would be a perfect day for a squirt gun fight. Unfortunately, the gun I bought yesterday at WalMart didn't work so Steve got stuck with the hippo squirter :)
I FINALLY got new batteries for my camera today...I felt weird without it for the past couple days after all this blogging!
Today Trevor and I went to WalMart to pick up some stuff and this evening was chill time. Tuesdays are Biggest Loser night so when it comes on the boys head back to the man cave to play Call of Duty for the first hour until Steve goes to bed.

I had to share another picture from our Friday at the park because I didn't go to the store to get new batteries for the camera. There is a river down the hill at the park and the water was low and the trail was well worn down so we walked down to it. Trevor made friends with a little butterfly that was getting a drink but that is when my batteries died. He said "Mom get a picture of my buddy!"
...my camera batteries died on me today so I didn't get any pics. We went to watch Steve do a rookie Firefighter Challenge today and then just chilled at home. We got too much sun and I am really glad that I remembered to put sunscreen on Trevor or he would look like a lobster like I do.
Trevor and I went to the park today while Steve slept after having duty all night. It was a bit windy, but other than that it was a beautiful day.
We had the park all to ourselves for about 30 minutes which was pretty nice. Trevor totally surprised me and climbed the big rock wall at least 10 times without any help or hesitation.
He was contemplating trying to go across these rings....he decided not to.
Sorry I had to post my face again but I didn't get much for pics today. This was taken this evening after watching AstroBoy and at the beginning of Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure. Steve had another overnight duty that he was doing for someone else, so it was a movie night for Trevor and I. You have to excuse both of us...Trevor was eating a cookie and I was post-workout.
Trevor and I went on base today to take care of some business and to get his hair cut. When we got home he was so excited about it and the fact that he was wearing his new shirt that he made me take pics of him "looking awesome" as he said. But it was a little difficult because he wouldn't stand very still, so here is the best one I got.
Trevor and I stayed home all day today since Steve took the car to work. We played and ate and worked out and watched a little bit of TV and I finally got a much needed load of dishes done.
When Steve got home he decided to wash the motorcycle, so Trevor and I went out with him since the weather was so nice.
After helping me water some plants and our (dying) tree Trevor rode his bike and just chilled....
Trevor and I went to the mall and WalMart today to look for some summer clothes while Steve was sleeping after having overnight duty. He wanted to play some soccer late this afternoon and wear some of his new clothes. They are a little big, but they still need to be washed and they will fit him all year. Here he is after scoring a goal!!
Today the weather was gross, cold, and wet so we stayed inside all day. Trevor used up some of his energy playing the Wii Active.
He loves playing this although it is a little tricky getting the leg strap to fit his little legs, but it works and I certainly can't tell him no if he wants to work out!!
Steve and I took Trevor to the park today and he had a great time! He was wearing us out running around everywhere. He was concentrating really hard on these (he had the tongue poking out) and made Steve do them too.
Trevor woke up this morning and went right for his Spongebob DoodlePro and said, "Mom, today I am going to make a smiley face!" He drew many circles and erased them, searching for the best circle. He finally found it then added the eyes and after much contemplation, the mouth. He was soooo happy! It was his first smiley face all by himself.
(My friend Loni pointed out that it looks like the guy on the animated Tim Burton movie "The Nightmare Before Christmas"....I totally agree.)
It was a beautiful day today so when Steve got home from work it was time to play outside. Here are they guys trying to look tough with their swords.
After dinner, I made some sugar cookies and Trevor decorated them for St. Patrick's day. He had a good time "accidentally" missing the cookies so he could eat the frosting.
We really didn't do anything for most of the day due to the weather not really cooperating with us. But at about 3pm the rain finally broke and stuff dried up a little bit so I decided to break our lock down and brave the chill. We both needed to get out of the house and get some fresh air. This is the best picture I could get because he was going so fast!! You can tell he was because his foot is kind of blurry...
We finally got Trevor a mattress for his top bunk and the other day he decided to put all of his stuffed animals up there. Today he climbed up to take them all down and when he got up there he told me to take his picture....so I did!
Yesterday was so crazy that I forgot to take pics and post, so I am making up for it by posting 3 pics tonight.
I had to make a quick run to Walmart today and I couldn't pass up buying Trevor a kite-they were only $1! I got it put together and he tried it out in the front yard (the back is where all the power lines are). And as you can see my tree doesn't appear to be taking the transplant very well. If I can't get it to liven up in the next few days, I may buy a pot for it and put it inside.
Trevor helped me get some plants in our new coconut planter today. He had a really good time playing with the dirt, and he is a really good helper.
And it was SOOO warm today, at least 80 degrees, so I decided it was perfect weather for a nice cold popsicle. Trevor really liked the idea too! :)
This is what I caught Trevor doing with his new squirt gun. I am pretty sure that he learned this from playing Call of Duty with Steve on the XBOX. He was aiming for our neighbor across the street, who he really likes despite trying to shoot him! :)
Trevor and I ran some errands and did some housework today so late this afternoon he was ready to get some outside time, despite the fact that the wind was blowing about 30mph and it was a little chilly. When Steve got home, the boys played a little baseball in the driveway. This was the only picture that I got with both of them because Trevor wouldn't hold still!
Trevor and I went to Home Depot today and picked out a new tree for the front yard. We had one planted that just wasn't growing so I decided to dig it up and try something else. We picked out this tree called a Corn Plant, named that because the leaves look like those of a corn plant...duh!
Trevor was a very good helper and took a little break to get a picture with the tree.
Tomorrow I might mow the yards but haven't decided yet. We will see how my body feels after moving all that heavy ground today. :)
Today was a great day to be outside, so after a quick trip to the car wash and Target, Trevor and I took advantage of the sunshine and went to the park.
"Look Mom! I climbed all the way to the sky!"
We finally got the motorcycle back together so when Steve got home from work, he took Trevor for a ride. He LOVES riding on the bike. Steve takes him around the block and to the end of the "cul-de-sac" on our street.

I took Trevor bowling today but forgot the camera. So I took a picture of him wearing this bow tie this evening instead :) He wore it for about 2 hours before he decided it was time to take it off.
Today was a fairly relaxing day for us. Trevor got a bit sick at about 7 this morning, so I decided we were not going to church. When he woke up, at 9:30, he seemed to be feeling okay, but since I didn't know what was going on I didn't want to risk spreading germs or him puking in Sunday school. Steve went to church alone and when he got home, I went to the commissary for groceries. We ended up doing some work on the motorcycle before dinner and ended the night playing cars after we got Steve tucked into bed.
I am hoping that Trevor will not have any more puking spells and that it was just a one day deal, which I am sure it was considering how he did today.
Today started off good and as far as I could tell Trevor felt fine. We played inside and outside then came back in this afternoon and Trevor ended up falling asleep on the couch at about 4, right after he told me his tummy hurt. When he woke up he acted okay, then just threw up a ton.

He didn't have any kind of fever at all, so I don't know what is going on. He said he felt better and acted like it for the rest of the evening up until about 20 minutes before bed. I sent him to bed with a dose of Motrin, just in case, and a bowl by his bed.
Today Trevor and I went on base to send off some bills, went to the library, and then took our second trip to the Arts and Crafts Center. He made this nice little heart for Grammy Cheryl.
Today was just a relaxing day at home for Trevor and I.
This evening when Steve got home, Trevor decided to have some daddy time, just chillin' on the couch eating some Apple Jacks!
Today was a great day! We met up with my friend Loni and her son Ethan. We haven't seen them in a few weeks because we were all sick with something during that time. We took the boys to the park since the weather was so nice then followed up with lunch at Chili's.

SO I actually missed a day of posting yesterday. Trevor and I were in the car for most of the day so obviously I didn't take any pictures while trying to drive.
Trevor has totally been into his Rocky truck for the past couple days. He loves it when Rocky talks to him.
To celebrate Read Across America Day (Dr. Seuss's birthday) I read "The Cat in the Hat" to Trevor while we sat outside in the sun. I also read "Take Me to the Zoo", which isn't by Dr. Seuss but it is one of the books "endorsed" by him.
When we got done reading he felt it necessary to sing Happy Birthday.
