We had a good day today. After church we went bowling then came home and played a little outside. Trevor ended up taking a nap while sitting on my lap watching TV-he was really tuckered out! After dinner, we decided to have family game night, playing Chutes and Ladders and Skip-Bo.
It was a really nice day so we decided to hit the park after having lunch at McDonald's. We went to a park that we have never been to and it turned out to be a really good park. Trevor was not so sure about this bridge on the play set, so Daddy helped him cross it.
We went to Mr. Gatti's (kind of like a Chuck E Cheese) today and I forgot my camera. So I took some pictures this evening playing in the backyard before dinner.
I bought Trevor a new golf set at Walmart yesterday and he has been playing with it almost non-stop since. At least I know it was a good $5 spent...I love that cheap toys can be just as fun as expensive ones.
We had a good day today followed by a great dinner at Olive Garden. After dinner we had to go get some stuff for Steve at Harbor Freight and we ended up going to Burke's Outlet right next door. Trevor found this hat and just HAD to have it-Grandma ended up getting it for him. The kid loves hats!
Today we drove to Midland to pick up Grandma Jan. It was a long, boring drive, so Trevor looks less than thrilled.
We have some stuff planned for the rest of the week, so be on the lookout for more pics of Trevor with Grandma.
We got snow today and not just a little bit. We got at least 3 inches, but I think it was more like 5 inches. I will have to look it up to be sure. Of course Trevor wanted us all to go out to play in it.
It was another uneventful day in the house. Te boys did get a chance to go play the XBOX and as Trevor puts it "shoot some bad guys". He loves it when Steve lets him play.
Between church and cleaning, we didn't do too much today to take pictures. I did, however, grab the camera as Steve was torturing Trevor before bedtime. My poor little guy...he looks like he is in agony, doesn't he?! :) He acts like he doesn't want to be tickled, but of course he giggles once the tickling begins.
Okay I admit it, this was taken earlier in the week, not today. I was gone for part of the day, then the rest of the day we were working on Steve's bike since we FINALLY got it back.
Trevor loves his T-Ball that daddy picked out for him, and just like everything else he does it left handed and right handed.
Today was such a beautiful day out so of course we took advantage of it and went outside. We did a bunch of stuff but the only thing I took pictures of was when we were coloring with sidewalk chalk. I was teaching him how to draw flowers for springtime.
Last night after I posted Trevor had one episode of puking, right around midnight. I got everything taken care of and actually had him sleep on his old crib mattress on the floor surrounded by blankets to protect the carpet and a bowl by him. He settled back into sleep and thank God he didn't get sick again.
This morning he woke up ready to play so I assumed he must have felt better. He walked right into the kitchen and got his Gatorade. Then a bit later he was hungry so he ate some peanut butter toast. The rest of the day after that he didn't really eat much, so I think he still felt a little unsettled.
We played it pretty low key for most of the day and he decided to use the watercolor paints that the paint guy at Home Depot gave him. It was his first experience with watercolors and he thought it was pretty awesome to mix the water with the dry paint.
Trevor ended up falling asleep at about 4 on the couch and I just let him since he hasn't been feeling well. We had Subway for dinner and he did okay eating, but ended up with a little bit of the other problem that comes along with having a stomach bug.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a feel good day!
Today was a strange day. Trevor woke up as happy as could be as usual. We had breakfast and played for a while then it was time to start sorting toys. He did wonderfully with giving up toys to be given away. He had a snack, then we just chilled for a while.
Around 1:30 he started dragging so I figured he just needed lunch and some good outside playtime. He was taking forever to eat and he finally finished, sat on the couch for about 20 seconds after that, then threw up all over. He had to have an impromptu bath and after that he seemed to be perfectly fine. I made sure he was okay and then took him out for some fresh air. He played with his lion bubble blower most of the time.
Then at about 6:30 he started getting all tired again. He was sitting with Steve and fell asleep and was totally out at about 7pm. Here he is sleeping on his best buddy, dad.
I woke him just enough to swallow the Motrin I squirted in his mouth and he was out until 8pm when Steve went to bed. When he woke up, he was acting normally again and we played the Wii a little and he had a small snack. I put him in bed tonight and just prayed that he is done with whatever it was.As soon as Trevor got out of bed this morning, he grabbed his backpack, his cowboy vest and his "car hat" (got it at the car dealership) to play his guitar for me. He said, "Mom I'm in the band and you are here to listen to me!"
It amazes me the kind of energy he has as soon as he wakes up. I could only wish for that!
Yesterday was so busy that we just had a nice laid back day at home today. We broke in the new washer and dryer, and I will add that we are thoroughly impressed with them!
I was trying to get a picture of Trevor chillin' on the couch but he decided to hide from the camera. I had to trick him to get him to turn around so I could snap a pic for the day.
We started out day by opening presents when we were all up and running. Trevor got a Mr Potato Head, new shoes, chocolates and a new Wii game. He was very excited about everything.
We all got ready and went to church. After that we had lunch and went bowling on base. Trevor and I actually beat Steve!!
After bowling we came home and relaxed a bit, played the new Wii game, then we took Trevor back to church. They had a free date night for a couple hours. It was nice. Trevor got to play and do crafts while we went to Outback for dinner. We finished up the night with some ice cream from Marble Slab and played some more Wii.Today I bought Trevor a paddleball at Target. He wanted one because SpongeBob has one and is good at it, so he thought he would like one. He likes stretching the ball and letting it really whack back against the paddle.
We were playing bad guys in the backyard today waiting for Steve to get home from work.
And yes, my child dressed himself :)
Today after working out, Trevor and I had a snack that consisted of apple slices with peanut butter. He had a ton of PB left on his plate, so I scooped some up with my last apple. He was sticking out his tongue trying to steal it back by licking my apple.
My little man is not too cool to help me do the dishes! As a matter of fact, he insists on helping when the dishwasher needs to be emptied. And I couldn't be happier about it.
Trevor woke up this morning ready to work out! He is using my Wii Active. He worked out for almost an hour!
This afternoon we went to the commissary while Steve was napping and when we got home I let Trevor ride his bike outside because we are supposed to have some nasty weather for the next couple days. I wanted him to be able to play outside for a little bit this week.
Today Trevor got a Valentine's day package from Grammy Cheryl. And of course we opened it early! He was so excited to get a package all his own and he loved everything! Thank you Grammy!
Today Trevor and I went and bought our new washer and dryer at Lowe's. They were having a good sale, plus they have a 10% military discount! Other than that we didn't so much but hang out at home. But I still couldn't chose just one picture, so I posted all 3.
Steve got home at about 8:45 this morning and I got Trevor up and the first thing he wanted to do was wrestle with Steve. And Steve looks a little beat up. The black eye is from a headbutt from Trevor and the scratch on his nose is from playing basketball.
Trevor has a style all his own! He has been wearing his cowboy vest for the last few days. He hasn't asked to wear it when we go out...yet!
He ended up having a pretty rough day. The bruise above his right eye is from him hitting himself with the car door, the one above the other eye is from Steve accidentally bumping him with a Nerf gun, and the fat lip is from Trevor dropping a Nerf gun on his face. My poor baby!
Steve has to work tomorrow during the day and he has duty overnight too, so Trevor and I will not be doing much. Today wasn't super exciting. The boys hung out at home while I picked up a few groceries. When I got home, we ate lunch, Steve took a nap, then the boys played for a little bit before Steve had to go to work for the night. When he left, Trevor and I went to Sears, Home Depot and Best Buy to search for a new washer and dryer. We didn't find anything today, but we are going out tomorrow while Steve tries to sleep too.
Trevor noticed all the cute little birds in the backyard picking at the grass and said, "Mommy can I please give those little guys food. They are hungry for some seeds"."
So I gave him a cup full of bird seed and told him it was his job for the day to put the food in the yard. He also asked me to take a picture of him with his mouth open like this...I don't know why. But I obliged!
Steve needed to take the car to work today so Trevor and I just kind of relaxed most of the day. I listed our washer and dryer very early this morning on Craigslist and by 10am I had a buyer. So I cleaned them up a little and off they went this afternoon.
Throughout the day, Trevor found some time to play his guitar for me.
I still wasn't feeling very well this morning but I had to go to GNC to get some Emergen-C. While we were there at the PX I decided to go ahead and get Trevor his very first professional haircut at The Barber Shop. It took maybe 5 minutes-when it takes me closer to 30 minutes. The clippers are so much better than what I have, plus they have an attached vacuum hose to suck the hair as it cuts. I was willing to pay for it to get done because I wasn't feeling up to doing it myself today. Afterward, I took Trevor to lunch at Pizza Hut. He was so excited about his new 'do that he just had to tell the waitress that he had just got it cut.

Okay...so this was taken the other day but I am posting a pic, and at this point that is all that matters to me. I woke up feeling like poo this morning. I did take Trevor to the nature center today but totally forgot the camera. I know, stupid mommy!
This is what Steve and Trevor did while I was getting my massage on Friday night.
Steve and I got new phones on Saturday and yesterday I discovered that my phone has a dice game on it. To roll the dice, you shake the phone. Trevor thinks it is one of the most awesome things ever, so he wanted me to take a picture of him playing it this evening.
Hopefully I will have some more exciting pics tomorrow...I may be taking Trevor somewhere if he decides he can behave himself better than he did today.
