Stuck!

Trevor decided he wanted the net taken out of his lacrosse racquet and I wasn't sure why, but I took it out anyway. This is how he ended up!

Long Day

I didn't get to take any pictures today because we were all over the place and spent a good majority of the day in the Verizon store trying to get my new phone to work...long story. So here is another picture from when Trevor was riding his bike the other day.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a little more enjoyable!

Stuck at Home

Today it was very cold and windy out, and Steve took the car to work, so Trevor and I were homebodies. While I did a sink full of dishes, Trevor colored his Handy Manny book. We did many random things, none of which were very exciting :)

Rain Rain Go Away

It was pretty yucky out for the majority of the day, but once the rain let up and it had been clear for a while, Trevor and I got out of the house for a little bit. We went down the check the mail and he decided to ride his little bike. He was being very silly and riding circles around me and laughing, like I would imagine a little circus monkey would do.
The rain let up for about 3 hours and started again this evening...I hope this isn't a preview for what the weekend holds.

B Dubs

Today Trevor and I went out with our friends, Loni and her son Ethan. We were supposed to go to story time at the library but when we got to base it was on lock down for a "real world situation" protocol test. So we took the boys to Hastings and got some books, then we went to Buffalo Wild Wings (B Dubs as Steve calls it, and so does T now) for lunch. Loni took this picture of us-even though I wasn't looking very picture ready. SO, sorry your eyes have to see me but it's the one and only pic that was taken today.

The Wilderness

As soon as we were all awake and dressed we went out the garage to work on Steve's motorcycle. After a while, Trevor asked for breakfast, which turned out to be a PopTart.
After taking a few bites he says so matter of factly, "I am going to eat my breakfast out here in the wilderness".
Steve and I both cracked up! Apparently the kid doesn't get into the real wilderness very often!
So here he is enjoying his PopTart in "the wilderness"!

Busy Day

Today was sooo busy with Steve's bike that I didn't take any pics. My hands were a mess most of the day and I really didn't want to get grease all over my camera.
So I am going to post a pic of what I wish we had been doing instead :) This pic was taken at Kid's Kingdom when we went last week.

"YEAH BABY!"

That is what Trevor yelled as he made his putt playing golf on the Wii with Steve. And I just happened to catch that moment in this pic!

Hearts

Last night when Trevor and I talked to Papa (my dad), he told Trevor that he sent him a Valentine's day package. Trevor was so excited and even more so when we got a knock on the door from the mail man today. He said, "Yay! My package, I am so happy mom! Papa and Gramma Nay Nay are so nice to send me a package!"
This is just one of the things he got...a lion bubble maker. This kid loves bubbles, so it was a perfect present! He wanted to use it right away, but with over 30mph winds bubbles weren't ideal today.
The package inspired us to make some Valentine crafts. Trevor did a very good job making these hearts with faces. I cut out the hearts and he did the rest, including giving them hair and teeth. He was so proud of himself, and so was I.

The Doctor is In!

Before bed Trevor decided I needed a doctor. He did a very good job and I feel all better!
He also wanted me to take a picture of him showing me his rib bones. He does this alot. I tell him he is weird but he tells me he isn't and that he does it because he can and he likes to!

Whew...Barely Made My Deadline

If I hadn't seen Alaina on Facebook I would have forgotten to post my pic of the day! Thanks Alaina!
Trevor loves his ClickStart computer. He got a "Ni-Hao Kai Lan" game for it for Christmas and he LOVES it.

Day 10

Today Trevor and I went to WalMart (for the first time in weeks) since Steve was napping after having staff duty overnight. I had some stuff to return and a list of things to get. One of those was a new battery operated toothbrush for Trevor. I let him pick and of course he picked out SpongeBob. He was so excited to use it that as soon as he finished lunch he went to try it out.
One of his favorite things to do is play with his Nerf guns. He made me show him this pic after I took it and he said "Hey, I look pretty B.A.!" Yep, as in bad ass. Yeah....he got that from Steve.

Kid's Kingdom Day

It was another warm day so I decided to take Trevor to Kid's Kingdom park while Steve napped before overnight staff duty.
I am breaking the one picture rule again, but as long as I post everyday, I don't care how many pics I post.
There is so much climbing, so many steps, that Trevor and I were both wore out when it was time to go. This tire "swing" is just one of the many little hidden things under the kingdom's bridges and overpasses.
I made Trevor pose with this sheep because I wanted you all to see part of what is all over town. These painted sheep are everywhere in random parts of town. San Angelo is supposedly sheep capital of the world, I think that is why they are all over.

And this pic is just for you Crystal! Now stop yelling at me. :)
We had a good day and Trevor was so good at the park that I got him a Happy Meal for lunch on the way home. On the way to McDonalds, he said "Thanks mom! I had such awesome fun!" And told Steve, "It was so much fun Dad, I think you need to go to the park too!" If only I could make him that happy everyday...

Day 8

We spent most of the day outside today. It has been about 70 degrees for the past few days so we have been taking advantage of it. We washed the car, wrapped Steve's exhaust pipes, then played in the backyard.

Another Two-fer Kind of Day

It was a beautiful day out so we took Trevor to the park this afternoon. He played alot but also paused for a while to walk down near the river and take a picture with Dad. They are best buddies...
After the park, Trevor wanted to go to the ice cream shop and we obliged! He chose white chocolate ice cream with Oreo's. YUM!

It was a good day and it was so nice to get out of the house after having such cold weather for the past couple weeks. I plan on taking him again during the week so he can have more of the park to himself.
I know posting 2 pics kind of breaks the rules, but at least I have kept up for this long! It is better than none :)

Football

Steve worked all day so Trevor and I had a pizza and movie party with some friends this evening until about 9. And Trevor was so excited to get home and play with Steve. So today's picture was taken while Trevor was doing one of his favorite things...playing football with Daddy!

Day 5

Today we finished with the bike and decided to go out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. On the way home Trevor got really quite in the car and we were asking him what he was doing. He said, "Taking a nap". We stopped at the Redbox and while waiting for Steve, Trevor said to me, "Mommy, please be quiet I am trying to take a short nap here". I told him I was going to take pictures of him sleeping so he started being silly.

Day #4

Today we got the motorcycle almost completely torn down to be fixed up. Trevor really wanted to use the socket wrench to help dad because it makes an awesome noise! My body already aches and we have more to do tomorrow....ugh.

Movie Time

I took Trevor to watch "Alvin and the Chimunks:The Squeakuel" today and he loved it! He also loved the cookie dough bites :)

A Two-fer Day

I couldn't chose between these 2 pictures of what went on today, so I just decided to post them both.
Trevor had a dentist appointment today so I decided it was a good time to take a picture of our day. I didn't get a nice cheese...instead, I got him telling me, "Mommmm...Don't take pictures in the dentist office of my toothbrush"...and that resulted in this face!
After getting my new ID card, I took Trevor to the Arts and Crafts center for the first time. He chose a bowl to paint. Here is his masterpiece in the works!
On a side note-That is definitely NOT the last time we will be going there. He had a blast just painting away and it was pretty inexpensive. I plan on going by myself to try out pottery making and some painting as well.

What will happen tomorrow? Stay tuned.... :)

I Accept, Maria!

Maria posed a challenge called Project 365, where you are to post one picture everyday for a year. I am going to try my best to stick with this challenge.
Here is my first contribution.

I am not sure if Trevor realized what he had done, but while coloring this morning, he drew a pretty good bubble letter E! When I asked him about it he said he was drawing a "part of the moon"...I can see how he gets that.

Hmmm...

I logged on a while back and made a Christmas post and just now realized it isn't here. I probably did something stupid. Anyway here are some pics from Christmas time-ish :)

Trevor modeling the new paint job on Steve's bike...

"Come on Mom. No more pictures!"
Playing the new guitar he got from Grammy.

Coloring on his new easel. He loves this thing. It's double sided and the other side is a magnetic dry erase board.
Testing out the new bunk bed with Daddy.

Trevor had a great Christmas! He got everything he asked for (which was only a guitar, drums, and piano) and WAY more. We just had a nice relaxing day at home but then both woke up sick the next day.
For New Year's Eve, we watched Paul Blart:Mall Cop. Trevor was totally into it. We ordered pizza and Steve and I rang in the New Year with him kicking my butt at SkipBo...don't worry, I got him back a couple days later.
I know I say it all the time, but one of my resolutions is to keep up with posting more often. At least 3 times a month is what I am shooting for.
