Here are some pics that I promised....I am late, but we have been busy and I have been going to bed early.
Trevor didn't waste any time-he got Papa reading right away!
"Here Papa, you can hold all of my friends!" I'm not sure why, but he always makes people who come over and stay hold all his animals for bedtime.

This all started as a simple watering of the tree. Then he got soaked because the nozzle leaks, so he decided he might as well really go for it and got in this bucket full of water.

This isn't a real great pic of my dad with is glasses falling off, but I thought it was a cute one of him and Trevor.

Trevor was so proud of "Tato-head" that he just had to have papa come and take a picture with him.

I will get more pics of whatever we end up doing tomorrow. We planned on going to Abilene, but unfortunately Steve ended up pretty sick.

SORRY...

I only have a few faithful readers, but I apologize for not updating lately. Steve's schedule was all funky for a while, leaving me as a single mom for a week. It was hectic and I didn't take any pics. And for the last few days we have been getting our house organized and cleaned.
Papa Rick will be getting in at 4:45pm and Trevor is SOOOOO excited! He even let me put him in bed a little early!
I will post pics either tomorrow or Wednesday night-then again shortly after Papa leaves.
Have a Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Animals

On Sunday we went to the Stock Show and Rodeo to check out the exhibits and Kid Korral. Trevor was super excited as soon as we walked in the door because he saw a "big mama piggy" with a bunch of baby piggies.
I love his face in this pic...he looks so sweet petting the little piglet.
The petting zoo was free to get in but they were selling cups of carrots to feed the animals. The carrots were a hot commodity...as you can see Trevor was being mauled by the goats!

The camel was a new addition this year. He was nice for the most part...until he mistook Trevor's fingers for carrots. I literally had to tug his pinkie out of the camel's teeth. Yes, Trevor screamed for a minute...until I distracted him with the baby goats.

Here are the baby goats that he loved so much...they were quite cute and soft.
Trevor really liked the little goats. These ones weren't babies, just small ones.
The white tigers were back...the only one that was in a good position for a picture was the baby. The daddy tiger was HUGE....the guy said he weighed over 500 lbs and his paws were bigger than my head.

This has to be the cutest cow I have ever seen. Trevor really liked him too. He is a Scottish Highlander cow. He also liked the carrots!

This year we decided to let Trevor take a pony ride. I am glad we did because he loved it!
Every time he would ride by me he would do a big CHEESE!

Aren't the little piggies sweet all snuggled up for a nap?! Trevor said "Aw, cute baby piggies! Piggies sleeping."

We had a really good time. It was the only cold day all week, imagine that! But Trevor enjoyed himself. He wasn't tall enough for any of the rides yet, but didn't seem to care much. Next year we are going to actually go to a rodeo show.
He won himself an inflatable hammer in the "Chose a Duck" game and I won him a Scooby Doo in the Break a Plate game.
In other news....Papa, my dad, will be visiting in 2 weeks. Trevor is super excited to see him and I am trying to plan some fun things for us to do.
