Fun Times

Trevor now seems to be over his stomach ordeal, which is nice. I got sick of doing pukey laundry...Here are a few pics from the past week.

He always wants to do something fun after Daddy goes to bed, so this night he choose to play with his Legos. He built a "castle" complete with tree, gates, garden and men. He was so proud of it he told me "Get camera mommy!" so I had to oblige him.One night we did a couple of little craft projects. Trevor picked out 2 different kinds of foam stickers at WalMart and we made a couple colorful scenes for the side of the refrigerator. He really had a good time making these.

Last night he said he wanted a tool belt for his hammer...after he proceeded to stick the handle down his diaper to hold it...boys will be boys. All the belts were in my bedroom, where Steve was sleeping, so I had to improvise with a belt from a flowery silky robe. To Trevor it was all the same, as long as he got his tool belt. He was so delighted to have a place for his hammer!

I an thinking about taking Trevor to the fairgrounds on Friday. There is a stock show and rodeo out there with some stuff for kids, like a petting zoo and some carnival rides. He had a good time last year and I am sure it will only be better for him this year.

Update Coming Soon...

...Trevor has been sick for the last couple days. It is a weird one. He has thrown up just once everyday since Thursday. Friday it ended up all over me as soon as I got home from work. Other than that, he has been seeming okay most of the day, but saying he has a tummy ache at least once every hour or so. He really hasn't been eating much at all, which is frustrating because I keep thinking that eating might make his tummy ache go away.
I have some pics from the last week to load, but won't get it done until Monday or Tuesday night.

Happy Valentine's Day

Well, I was going to post a video of Trevor counting but for some reason it won't work. I will try again tomorrow and if that doesn't work, then I will just put in on MySpace.

Here are a couple pics of the week...

Trevor wanted me to take his picture with the animals that he sleeps with...yes, these ALL go in his bed.

Here is a picture of him just looking like, using his words, a "cool guy" in his hoodie (just before he started counting for me).

Steve had to work all day from 8am to 8pm today. But this morning I made chocolate covered strawberries and Trevor and I took some to Daddy at work and visited for a while. Then Trevor and I went to the store so he could pick out his own present. He picked a basketball hoop. When we got it home, I realized how cheaply made it was, so we went to WalMart when he woke up form his nap and got a different one. He was sooo excited! I also got him an EZ Bed...it is a small air mattress that has a sheet with a zipper sewn on and the top half of sleeping bag that zips onto that. It also comes with an inflatable pillow. Pretty cool if you ask me! We plan on camping this year, so it will be perfect.
Before we left to visit Steve at work, I asked Trevor if I could get a really cute picture for Valentine's Day...and this is what I got!

I told him we couldn't open the bed until Daddy got home from work. As soon as Steve got settled in at home, Trevor wanted me to open the bed and blow it up. Of course, we don't have a pump that works on it, so I had to do it by mouth. But it was worth it because, as you can tell, he loves it!

He would hide under the sleeping bag and say "Mommy, (where) are you? Peeky-boo!"

I didn't get any pics of him playing basketball. I will sometime this week. Hope you all had a great Valentine's Day!

A Trip to the Park

We went to the park on Saturday. It was a quite windy, but other than that it was an awesome day to be outside.

This is the first time Trevor was willing to try the big kid swings. He had a really good time swinging with Daddy. He kept saying, "Daddy do it!"

He also liked the airplane rocker. He was saying "Dad-ay.....ride airplane me!" (when he yells for Steve, it comes out as dad-ay instead of daddy).

We took an assortment of balls for Trevor to play with in case he got tired of the playground. He had a great time playing football, making Steve chase him.

An action shot. He would throw the football then try to beat Steve to it.

He insisted that Daddy lift him up to help him make a basket with the volleyball. It was unsuccessful, but he had a good time!

Trevor really wanted to climb this rock wall after he saw some other kids doing it.

He came away saying "Darn wall!" and shaking his head...

He wasn't quite big enough to make it from step to step, so he used them as drums...and surfboards!

Just being goofy!

Pondering what he should do next....it ended up with him walking around and making Steve follow him for a good 20 minutes.

Trevor and Steve being silly....

We ended up having a really good. We were there for about 2 hours, and despite putting sunscreen on Trevor, he ended up getting burnt on his face. He was super red around his nose and ears. I can only imagine what he would have looked like if I hadn't put any on. The bottle said the sunscreen was still good, but I am throwing it out and buying a new one.

Steve has to work on Valentine's day so I might try talking him into taking Trevor and I out on Friday or Sunday night.

I am going to try to do some craft projects with Trevor on Wednesday...if I do, we will have pics to share.

Finally an Update!

Hey! The blog is back! It's been over a month without new pics. So here are a few from the last 2 weeks since Steve has been home.

Trevor was so glad that Daddy was home. He just wanted to chill out with him. Trevor was making us all wear hats. Steve and I were stuck wearing hats that didn't fit us...but the boys still look pretty cool. This is my favorite recent pic of them together.
Trevor found Steve's patrol cap and decided he wanted to look cool, so he wore it with some shades. What a stud with his Mario remote control car :)

Not sure what kind of face this is, but he was having a good time driving that car all over the living room!
Climbing "Mount Daddy"! He is like a little monkey!

Giving Daddy's freshly-shaved head some kisses...

Just a close up...he really likes to get right up in the camera!

For some reason he thought it would be fun to line up all his "friends" and pose with them. He is crazy!

Trevor requested that we watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse after we tucked Daddy in, so I obliged. The episode was 'Mickey and Minnie's Jungle Safari'. Mickey and Minnie were wearing safari hats so Trevor said, "Mommy, wear safari hat ME!" so I found his hat and he was quite delighted. He kept saying "Me go safari too!" and wanted to take monkey and Oscar the dog on safari.

SO, we are all finally done being sick....for now. I don't think we have anything exciting planned anytime soon, but now that I have the camera back, I will take random pics to post.
