"Kids Say the Darndest Things"

I just had to post something really quick that Trevor said when we were riding in the car yesterday.

A little back story first: Trevor has such a hard time with dawdling-he is such a slow poke of a guy-that I am always telling him to "hurry up and get in the car" when we are out because he is at the stage where he wants to "ME DO IT!"-about the only thing he lets me do is buckle him in.

So, we had been at work, Sam's Club and then the bank. We were driving home and he was in the back seat talking about who knows what-he loves to make things up-and apparently he thinks I have gotten pretty bossy because I heard him say: "Mommy say get in car NOW!"

I started laughing so hard because it is so true! I just couldn't believe he had the audacity to talk about me like that when I was in the car with him. :)

He has been saying some pretty funny things lately, but I really have to watch what I say. About 2 weeks ago some guy flew past us on the highway and I said out loud, "Where's the fire, ass?" To which Trevor said "Fire ass" then laughed really loud and repeated it about 4 times including "Mommy say it" just to remind me that I said it first.

He is getting so much better at talking-he says at least a few new things everyday. And he can count to 5 (with the occasional skipping of 4). We have only been working on it for a while so I am very happy.

Christmas and Beyond

I am finally getting Christmas pics posted...Just a few and I might do a SmileBox later on. There are some pics that are from after Christmas too. I also have a video that I want to post, just not sure when I will actually do it!
Not quite sure what he was doing with his arms, but he got a lot of presents!
Thanks Stogsdill Family for the Seahawks decorations! Trevor thought the snowman was "cute" and wanted to play with him!

He was totally excited about the guitar Grammy sent. This is his rockin' out face. It is classic!

Here he is a couple days after Christmas singing mommy a song. He is pretty good!

Typical Trevor telling me, "No no no Mommy-me do IT!!!"

I was hiding from him calling his name and as you can see, he thought it was hilarious when he found me hiding around the corner behind the kitchen cabinets.
Steve is gone to Airborne School until the end of the month. I think he will be back on the 28th. He took the camera, so there won't be any new pics. But like I said before, I have some videos that I want to upload. I hope you enjoyed and I will be back soon with something else for your viewing pleasure!
