A Week in the Making

We have had a pretty fun week though we didn't do anything too exciting.
Trevor found a tattoo that came in a goody bag that Steve brought home from the competition and he decided he wanted to wear it. So here he is freshly "inked"!

We went grocery shopping and Trevor saw the new display of Halloween cookies and just HAD to have some. I asked if he wanted ghosts or kitties and he said "kitty kitty kitty"...here he is getting into the box to bake them.

He was more than willing to help put them on the pan...after all, the faster they get on the pan, the sooner he can eat them. He did end up taking a big bite out of one that wasn't cooked.
Trevor figured out how to open our doors a while back and recently discovered all kinds of things in his closet. He found the gloves that Papa and Gramma NayNay got him. They are too big, but he still wanted to wear them. He is feeling how soft they are on his face.
We had a special art project we were working on and I asked Steve to keep an eye on Trevor while I went to find some scissors...not that I really expected him to :) This is what I came back to!
The big cheese face...all I can say is "Thank God" for Crayola's super-washable markers!

Trevor has been adding to his vocabulary daily and has finally really started putting two words together in a more conversational manner. Most of which consists of "No ____"......for example-

Me: "Trevor do you want your apple sliced?" Trevor: " No slice!" Me: "So you want your apple whole?" Trevor: "Appa whole. Tank you"

We really don't have anything planned for Labor Day weekend yet. Maybe we will go spend some time playing at the park. I wish we could make it home for Paul Bunyan Days...maybe next year.

Photoshop Pics

Today I found Photoshop Express online and decided to try it out in editing some pics that I have been meaning to post.
This one is of Trevor wearing Daddy's shoes and underwear, along with his own giraffe print sunglasses. He likes to wear weird things together...(I made this one look like a sketch).
Steve turned 26 on Aug 10th and we had a small get together out at the lake. Here is Trevor enjoying a piece of daddy's birthday cake!

On Monday we went to a park that we hadn't been to before. Trevor LOVED this little rocket! (in this pic I edited out a pickup that was behind Trevor's head.)

We decided to head across the big grassy field down to the river. Trevor is running of course! (in this pic I "popped" just the green.)

Here is Steve trying to get Trevor to catch up after he came back for me as I was lagging behind trying to take pictures.
Trevor found a stick by the river that he ended up carrying all the way back to the car. (in this pic I edited out some pieces of trash.)

He ended up finding a companion for his stick. Pieces of both ended up in my car...

Trevor has really been into his Lego's lately. This is him in the process of building a tower that ended up taller than he is. He has a good concentration face, huh?
I had fun editing these pics, but it took me a while to get the hang of some stuff. I recommend trying it out if you like to do that kind of stuff. I hope you enjoyed our long overdue pictures...and like I always say, I will try better to keep up from now on! :)

Oh Geez...

....it has been forever since I posted and I promise that by Monday night there will be pics up from the last 2 weeks. I have them on the computer; I have just been lazy in editing them and actually doing something with them.

Kid Kingdom and Rescue Randy

I have a bunch of pictures from last weekend through this weekend. Last weekend we went to Kid Kingdom and Trevor had a good time playing, depsite how hot it was. This weekend we played out at the SAM Squad training tower while Steve and the guys trained for the upcoming competition.
He loved the pony...so much that he sat there for almost 10 minutes until I asked if he wanted to go see the geese-which he replied "Deese!!" while nodding his head!
Our little muscle man. He can hold on, but for some reason doesn't want to all the time and would rather be held.

Peeking at me through the port hole of the rocket ship.
Just relaxing in the swing...he's not a big fan of the swing.
Checking out the dino and the grass that he is eating.
He was running down the hill so Steve could catch him and throw him up in the air.
Then he decided he wanted to ride the dino...
Look at that evil little face under the bowl...he is a real monster!
He was actually being nice to Dakota and giving him "squeezes".Trevor wanted to drag Rescue Randy the way the guys were...He tried for quite a while to pick him up.Then he wanted a shot at the Keiser sled....he couldn't quite pick up the sledge hammer!

It was a pretty good week. It went by fast and I totally forgot for about 4 days that the camera was still in the car from last weekend, that is why there were no pics earlier. As Trevor would say, "Uh-oh, oppie (oopsie)".
