A Crazy Child

We are back with some classic Trevor silliness!
This is the outfit that Trevor made for himself the other day...note the accessories he chose!

I think he was trying to "smile" the same way the giraffe is. Whatever he was doing, I thought it was cute!
Somebody got a timeout this afternoon and this is the look he gave me when I went to get him. I know technically kids shouldn't have timeouts in their bed, but I don't have a good timeout chair/mat yet. But our timeouts seem to work-he is always much calmer afterwards.
Trevor actually took this picture of himself this evening. Not too bad, but a tad close.
We don't have anything super exciting planned for the weekend. We never seem to do anything with just the three of us anymore...we are always doing something in a group, which is okay, but I really enjoy "alone" time with just us three.

A Week of Pics

I have pictures from the last week that I have been meaning to put up. Here we go!
This is from last Saturday during the Rookie Firefighter Challenge on base, hence the firefighter jacket Steve is wearing. Steve had a team-they ended up finishing the competition in 3rd place! YAY!
A close up of Trevor's burnt face-the right side of his face got burnt just under his eye and on his nose. I guess I didn't get the sunscreen on as thick as I should have..... :(
But he was still having fun with my big cup!
Since we were in the hot sun all morning until 2pm, I decided it would be a good ice cream night. I ordered Trevor his very own raspberry ice cream. He LOVED it!

And this face was made during the sugar rush that followed that bowl of ice cream!
Enjoying a before dinner story with daddy. He was very intrigued as you can see.
A while ago I got some "saturn peaches" from WalMart. They are the best peaches I have ever tasted, so I thought Trevor would like them. He went nuts for them and ate 2 whole ones in one sitting. Here is his mid-bite "this is yummy smile".
Trevor has turned into quite the little monkey trying to climb into his crib. He has yet to try to climb out...we will see how much longer that lasts. Here he is trying to get in to get his animals.
As of right now, Trevor is sleeping fighting off a fever. I am not sure what the problem is, but he has a fever of 102. We will see what the verdict is in the morning and go from there as far as what to do about it. I am not sure if he is getting sick, if it is from his molars, or just from being out in the heat today during the yard sale. Here's to hoping he gets better soon!

The Week in Pictures

The blog is back with a new look...I am not too fond of the pink writing, but Trevor loves SpongeBob, so it will do for now.
Monday was Trevor's first dentist appointment. Here he is with daddy in the play/waiting area after he saw the dentist. He did much better than I thought and the dentist said his teeth look great!
I think that he has been learning a little too much from Dakota! Hahaha.... :)
Trevor loves laying in our bed with the pillows and blankets. Here he is cuddling with his Laugh and Learn puppy on my pillow.
I am pretty sure he was thinking that he was going to destroy that mufin!
So far we have no real plans for the weekend. Whatever we do I am sure I will take some pics!

The Weekend

This week we got back to normal pretty quickly after Grandma and Grandpa Burpee left. We were busy as usual. But I did get around to taking some pics at the end of the week.

Here is Trevor stealing daddy's guacamole...He loves the stuff!
On Friday morning Trevor woke up in a good mood and was being silly for the camera while we waited for Steve to wake up for breakfast. Here he is wearing his "too small hat" and waving at me.

Breakfast was chocolate chip pancakes. It was a bit late because Steve slept in, but Trevor thought it was worth the wait!
For the 4th, we went to "Uncle" Louie's house for a BBQ. Trevor was not impressed with being inside after dinner...
So I took him out to play and he found the hose nozzle. I guess he is "taking a drink" while relaxing in the camp chair.
We went to Uncle Louie's again on Saturday. He is moving so we are spending a lot of time over there before he goes. I made a pudding pie to take over and I gave Trevor some of the leftover pudding. This is what became of his face afterward.
We are going to dinner at Uncle Louie's again tonight because he is supposed to be leaving tomorrow. Maybe I will take some pictures over there.
