Fun Times

We spent the weekend home cleaning and we had some friends over to watch a movie. No matter what we have to do, we always manage to get it done somehow. Here are some pics since last week.

His first boat ride was interesting. He really didn't like it at first, and did not want to get in the water with daddy and Grandma and Grandpa Burpee. The only time he had a good ride was when we went slow-so we drove across the lake on our way back nice and slow. He was so comfortable, he even decided it was okay to snack on some Doritos.
This afternoon we went to China Beach, a walk-in pool on post. At first Trevor was not thrilled about the water going up to chest level, but after a bit he started having a really good time-especially after he got this ball from a little girl who was leaving. He eventually starting walking out deeper and I even had to remind him not to keep going or he would end up under water.
Trevor made a little friend at the pool who shared some animal crackers with him. Here he is with a mouthful-and a kiss for me!
When we got home from the pool it was dinner time. Trevor ate more than he has ever eaten at one sitting...maybe even in a whole day! He had a cheddar sausage, some chips, and about 4 big slices of watermelon. Not to mention the breakfast size box of Cheerios on the way home. I was afraid he was going to make himself sick from eating so much-thankfully that didn't happen :)
We are leaving tomorrow afternoon for SeaWorld and we will be back on Saturday afternoon sometime. Don't worry-I will be taking lots of pics!

The Random Assortment

I am not sure where the time goes, but before I knew it, it had been forever since I posted...again!
Here is Trevor wearing his ducky "toga" that I crafted out of a blanket for him. He insisted I find a way for it to stay on and he was so delighted walking around patting it.
"Hello Cheese! You've just won a trip to my mouth!"
He insisted on feeding Tai Lung some of his yogurt-he got him the day before out of a Chicken McNugget happy meal!
On Saturday I made my first batch of chocolate chip pancakes. I mostly did it because Steve had to work on Sunday-and I thought it would be a nice treat for us all. Here is Trevor enjoying his first choclate chip pancake! We asked him if he liked it and he nodded and said "MMHMM".
I got him the cutest outfit later Saturday morning...I will make sure to post a pic the first time he wears it.
Grandma and Grandpa Burpee will be here on Monday so we might be cleaning all weekend. But if we do end up doing something fun, I will post pics since I probably won't put any up until after out SeaWorld trip. We will be gone the 26th-28th.

Cheeeese!

I am back with a few pics from this week. Trevor has been being silly as usual.
I rolled him up in this blanket and he was very content in there until I got up and walked into the kitchen to get the camera. Here he is crawling out of his "burrito"...
I asked Trevor if I could take his picture and he said "Yeah!" and climbed up on the chair. I asked him if he could smile for me and he said "Cheeeese!" and gave me a very nice smile! He has really been cooperative when it comes to pictures. Maybe it is time to go get some done again.
This morning I cut his breakfast banana into just circles when I usually cut them into smaller pieces. He thought that they looked like good stacking material. Here he is putting his 9th slice on. On number 10, his stack fell over and he said "Whoa"! Then he said "Stack" and started building again.
This is his satisfied, after-cookie face!
Steve is leaving Friday morning. I might take Trevor to one of the base pools...but I have not decided yet what exactly we will do without Daddy. He will be taking the camera so I don't want to miss anything too good.
