Where Did the Week Go??

I am back to update with some pictures from this week. I cannot believe how fast time has been going by these days.
Here is an outfit that Trevor got from Grandma Jan for Easter. I absolutely LOVE the pants. It came with a cute little windbreaker jacket too.
Trevor loves to get his face squished for some reason. Here he is playing his silly game with Daddy!
This cinnamon swirl bread was his late night snack...and he seemed to be quite impressed with the way it looked!
I can't seem to keep Trevor out of Dakota's food dish when I fill it. Doggy isn't real fond of it, but Trevor likes to feed him his dog food one piece at a time.
This is what boys look like when left alone with an Oreo cookie! (And Misty, in case you can't tell, his shirt says "Blame the Dog")

Grampy Rick has a birthday on Friday, so Trevor and I decided to make him a nice picture for the fridge. He also decided that he wanted to make a masterpiece out of himself.
Hopefully next weekend we can make it to the park. We haven't gone since Grammy was here and now that Trevor is bigger, I think he will like it a lot more.

A Whole Week...

I can't believe it has been a week since I last posted. I guess time escaped me as I was preparing the house for Easter.
On Thursday I cut Trevor's hair again. It was starting to get kind of long and unruly, so I decided to "shave" it off again. He wasn't too happy about it but I did manage to distract him a little by giving him is Spongebob bubbles. It took him a while to get over being mad at me, as you can tell from this picture.
Lately, Trevor has turned getting him out of bed after nap time into a game. He loves to holler at me so I will come in and get him, then he rolls around and crawls away from me when I try to get him. Here he is, with Teddy, making a silly face and laughing at me.
Uncle Al got here on Saturday for Easter and we decided to have Subway for dinner. I guess Trevor really liked the bites that I gave him. When I was teasing him about me eating his food, he made this growly face at me!
Easter morning started out pretty good. We ended up putting Trevor in daycare at church and he was excited to get in there and play with the other babies. But he was pretty tired by the time church was over and we came home, and as you can see he was not very happy about it.
Here is the cute shirt he wore for Easter...
Lately Trevor has been saying even more words. The newest ones that I can think of are "bite" and "door". And he loves repeating himself-it is always "Up, up, up, up" instead of just "up".
I will try to keep up more now that my house is clean and we will not be having any more guests until May when Grampy Rick comes.

Squirt Bottle

Trevor got the squirt bottle after I left it on the floor and decided he wanted to taste the water inside...
" Moon, Moon".....Sometimes he surprises me with words when I am not quite sure if he really knows them-then he throws them out there after not using them for a while. He loves looking out the back door at the moon.
I think I want to go over there and hug TJ Bearytales, but I am not quite sure...
"I'm gonna get you TJ!"
He learned to use the squirt bottle as soon as he picked it up tonight. It hasn't been out for at least 4 months and he just picked it up and started squirting! You can even see a little water coming out if you look closely.
Trevor has really been surprising me with things lately. His newest words are cheese, box, leg, and poop :) ...but I think his favorite thing to say is "WOAH" when he falls over or throws something really far. He also LOVES to say "doctor" when Dr Phil comes on. He even saw his book today with his picture and kept saying "doctor" over and over!
It is funny how they pick things up from us so quickly at this age. He tries to copy almost every action that we make. He even copies the dog when he sneezes!
I have prepared myself to be surprised everyday from this point forward.

A Busy Boy

Trevor could not be stopped today for me to get a good picture, so I had to actually sit him up on a dining room chair. And to my surprise, he got all giddy and smiley!
Here he is in one of his new comment tee's....
Please excuse the diaper...it was 85 degrees, therefore pants were non existent as soon as we got home from the store.
On Saturday we are taking a little shopping trip to Abilene, mostly to visit Steve and Barry's. But their mall has some stores that ours doesn't, so we wanted to check it out. It is about 80 minutes away, so we are leaving around 9am to shop for a few hours, have lunch, then drive back. Hopefully Trevor will nap during the trip home-though it will be a short nap. We haven't gone on a carride any longer than about 40 minutes since last summer. I am sure he will do fine....let's just keep our fingers crossed! :)

Music and Playtime

Saturday was a fun day at home for us. Trevor started his morning by choosing his clothes from his basket, and this is what he ended up picking (he already had the socks on)...

Steve was downloading some music and Trevor was interested in the ear buds, so Steve let him take them to listen to the music."Here Daddy...you can listen now!"
We took about a 40 minute walk then played outside for a while. Here is Trevor throwing the basketball to Steve. He got this shirt from Auntie Maria, hence the Marines statement. We will make sure to get her a nice Army shirt when they have a little one! :)We have a bunch of big rocks out front and when my mom was here she pointed out that one in particular looked like it would make a good seat. I tried to get Trevor to pose for me on it-this is the best I got. You see that dark speck on the left side?? That is bird poop. Well, Trevor saw it too when he got up. He tried to pick it up and eat it-good thing mommy was closely watching!!!Steve had staff duty from 8pm Saturday night to 8am Sunday morning, so Trevor and I went to Walmart today so Daddy could get a few hours of sleep when he got home. I found some super cute comment tees and washed them today so I could let him wear them...and of course get pics for you, Misty! By the way, I sure am glad you comment here. I know other people read, but they never comment...damn them!
I am off to look for plane tickets for Grampy Rick...he is coming in May to visit us, so I will be purchasing his ticket tomorrow after he gives me his card number! We are super excited to see him!

It's Yucky Outside

I know that is not something you hear from me often, but the weather today is just gross. It has rained, snowed, and hailed all day-after being about 75 earlier in the week. The weather here baffles me.
So we have been inside most of the time for the past couple days.
Here is Trevor getting his hand eaten off by Steve. He seems to be enjoying himself!
Trevor has become delighted by putting things in his mouth and just leaving them there without holding onto them-like this toy mouse for example....
I am not sure what the kid is thinking most of the time. He has some crazy antics about him-it really makes me wonder where he comes up with the things that he does!

It's Been a While

I am back with just some random pictures I have taken over the last few days.

Trevor is not real big on juice, but when I started drinking one of his Mott's for Tots, he decided he wanted it, so I gave it to him. He did a very good job not squeezing all the juice out.
Just for you Misty-I know how much you like his comment tee's.
Taking a bath with his new toys and bath mat. Today was a milestone-we had no crying during bath time when the water got on his face! YAY!
"Why is all my water going down there? Come Back, water!!!!"
A good "cheese" shot!
It seems that putting Trevor down for a nap between 12:30 and 1pm has been working better than our old schedule, so I am sticking with it. Now if I can get rid of this bedtime bottle.....
