Happy Halloween!

LAST NIGHT---Trevor's costume was really cute and everyone at the battalion party thought so too, except he got mistaken for a girl all night. Here he is with daddy ready to go to the party!

Halloween Night---Trevor had a really good time tonight trying to run around and get candy. You can tell by the look on his face that he was out on a fun mission!

He gets so easily distracted by everything on the ground, that Steve ended up carrying him most of the way until we got to people's doors.

We went to about half the houses on our street and we decided to come back home and hand out candy. Of course Trevor wanted to Trick-or-Treat from Daddy....

He also acted like a real rooster getting down in the grass to look for stuff...

It didn't take long for us to run out of candy. We came inside and let Trevor have some of the yummy candy that he worked so hard for.

We have already decided that next year we will all be dressing up along with some kind of theme. And that Trevor has to distinctly be a boy. Only about 3 people knew he was a boy!

Pumpkins and Fevers

Although it is fuzzy, I decided to put this pic up because this is when Trevor was feeling good on Friday evening. He was being quite silly, running back and forth across the room laughing and sticking his tongue out.

Steve and I carved our pumpkins on Saturday, though Steve's wasn't completely finished until today. Trevor sat is his highchair and watched. I let him have a big chunk of the pumpkin guts to play with. At first he didn't like the slimy feel, but he soon warmed up to it and played with it for a while before he dropped it on the floor and Dakota ate it. I didn't get any pics of that since my hands were just too messy.
But here are some pics of Trevor outside tonight when we put our jack-o-lanterns out.
If I only knew what the little "evil genius" was thinking...
It really took a lot to get him to stand with them (without turning to look) long enough to get a pic (Steve's is the skull, in case you were wondering)...

He seemed to be impressed with our carving efforts....

Trevor really loves the rocks that we have around our walkway. He will carry them around all day, all over the place if we let him. He likes to get two and click them together. But he lost his second one...

And though he appears to feel okay, he has a fever and is generally icky feeling, as all the whining is telling me. He has a red welt on his leg (I have no clue what it is, and am kind of worried about it) and a little bumpy rash on his mid-section. We may be taking a trip to the clinic in the morning if things don't look any better.

Art Day!

First, I have to show you some pics of Trevor on his lion. Here he is trying to tell the lion to go...

He figured out how to go backwards and ended up crashing into the love seat...

Yesterday I got some paint and stuff for us to start making some art projects to send to the grandparents. Here is Trevor telling me he is ready to get crafty...

What do you want me to do with this???

He did actually manage to do a bit of painting with the brush on the paper. But his tray ended up being the real masterpiece!

It was bathtime after all that paint. Here is Trevor looking squeaky clean (with his flipped out hair!) and feeling good about himself!
He really loves his straw cups. He does actually drink out of them, but usually if it is just water, the following pic is the result...He just blows the water out, then says, "ahhh" like it was a nice refreshing drink!

We still have some birthday balloons that have survived and Trevor brought me one. I decided to give him a static mohawk and Steve said that we just had to get a pic...

We will be carving our pumpkins on Saturday. Hopefully we will get some good pics.

Just Another Day

We didn't do anything too exciting today. A morning trip to the grocery store was the extent of our excitement. When we got back I gave Trevor some of the chocolate Teddy Grahams that I got him and boy was he excited! Here he is being silly because he liked them so much...

He was being crazy running from one end of the room to the other -playing chase with Dakota when Dakota really wasn't playing. He paused momentarily to catch his breath...

This evening he was being a little cranky so Daddy decided to liven things up by tickling him. He loved it and it seemed to work for a while.

Who knows what tomorrow will bring....

Trouble...

Trevor woke up really early again this morning so we started the morning a bit cranky. We decided to go to Lowes to look for some stuff and as usual, he was in a good mood once we started to roam around the store. It was cold out-54` and super windy-so Trevor wore his cute new long sleeve shirt. Here is a good pic of it...

Trevor has a new face that he started making when Grammy was here. It is cute and this pic doesn't quite show it at it's best, but you can get the idea.

When Steve got home from work I went to workout and let Trevor take a nap with Daddy. I checked the mail on my way home, and we had a little surprise from Stogsdill's. Thanks guys! Here is Trevor showing his cool new Halloween socks to Daddy.

Hopefully this waking up early thing will end soon. But I guess it is better than waking up screaming.

Anyhow, we will be venturing out again tomorrow so maybe you will see another new cold weather outfit and maybe Trevor will do something exciting!

Pumpkins, Playgrounds and Football

Saturday morning we decided to take Trevor to a place I have named Pumpkin Corner. We wanted to find a good baby pumpkin for Trevor and we certainly did. He didn't want to let go of it, and even after his nap he wanted to play with it. You must excuse his nap hair....
We wanted to go do something fun a bit later so we took Trevor to the playground at the elementary school down the street.
He loved playing with the bark...

Getting ready to slide with Daddy...

"I am gonna get you Daddy".....

Time to go home, but just one pic with mommy first...
That was the extent of Saturday excitement.

And you all know what Sunday is in our house...FOOTBALL FUN DAY!!! Here is Trevor looking cool in his jersey.

After an exciting Seahawks win, Trevor decided to play. He got a little crazy and cut the edge of his nose. I could only get a pic while he was stuffing his face with Vanilla Wafers, but here is a pic of the damage...(I am not sure if you can enlarge these pics-someone let me know!)

Anyway....The weather is beginning to change on us suddenly as of tomorrow. The nice blue skies and 85` weather from Saturday at the playground is turning to 64` and rainy as of tomorrow. So I think you will stop seeing Trevor's pasty white legs soon!

The Check Up

So, as you all know Trevor had his 1 year check up today. What a day....long and sad.

The appointment was scheduled for 9:15am so I got there a little early to fill out the paperwork. It just so happens that getting there early wasn't needed-we didn't even get into a room until 10:15am. Trevor was cranky by that time because I had to keep holding him due to his running away.
The 1 year check up is not fun. First he got the 4 shots that we expected. But then they said they needed to take his blood. I guess it is routine after 1 yr to test for anemia and lead. It was extremely traumatic. They couldn't find a vein in his arm after trying 4 times with the rubber band pinching around him, so they did a finger stick and squeezed his finger for 10 minutes to fill the vial. I felt horrible, but I know it is all for a good cause.

Anyway, now to the statistics.....Trevor now weighs 24 pounds (in the 70th percentile) and is 30 inches tall(about 60th percentile). And he has a big head-a whopping 19 inches around (90th percentile)!!! Lots of room for brains I guess!

Anyway, I got one pic of Trevor today that is worth posting. It was just after dinner and he was looking at daddy...

Here is a slideshow of the random pics that I promised!

Granola Bar Thief

Today we did nothing, which was kind of nice after having such a busy week before and a not so quiet weekend. Trevor tried his first granola bar this morning. I just gave him little bites because it had nuts in it and I wasn't sure if he was going to be allergic (though I didn't think he would be). He LOVED it!

So this evening after dinner, he stole a wrapped one off the end table and decided that he wanted to eat it. He tried pretty hard to get into it...

In case you were wondering, that is cupcake frosting on his face. I decided to open the granola bar and share half of it with him. He wanted nothing to do with me once it was gone!

He decided to go play with daddy's feet.

He really loves making our hands and feet clap together. As you can see, he got a real kick out of it tonight!

Tomorrow Trevor has his 1 year check up and shots. We will see how he is afterward. Hopefully he will feel okay and I will have something to post tomorrow. If not, I will try to do a Smilebox of pics from when Grammy was here.

Either way, I will update you on how huge Trevor is and what the doc says about him after the appointment!

A Cute Outfit

Today Trevor and I went grocery shopping. It was actually a bit cold when we left so I put Trevor is part of his new track suit. He looked quite cute in it, I must say.

Lately he has been picking up on a lot of things. I taught him to say "woof" when I ask him what doggie says. Here he is telling me, he says it more like "woo"...

A little pose for the camera...

That was the extent of the excitement for today. But here are the random pics I tried to post yesterday.

Staticky Balloon Hair (he was rubbing a birthday balloon on his head)

Playing with the Laugh and Learn Kitchen/Living Room (a birthday present from us)

I guess no more pics for tonight once again. They better get this fixed soon....I will try again tomorrow.

A Much Better Day

Trevor woke up happy this morning which made me sigh with relief that maybe today would be a better day. And it really was. We didn't have nearly as many battle as yesterday and he let me put him in bed without a fight. For the last two weeks we have had bouts of him waking up screaming though-any insight is welcome!
Anyway, Trevor got a stride to ride lion from Grammy and he learned how to climb on and off today. Here he is telling the lion to go...

SORRY NO MORE FOR TONIGHT....THE SITE IS NOT WORKING FOR PICS RIGHT NOW. I WILL POST TOMORROW.

What a Day...

Trevor has been cranky on and off all day,so needless to say so have I. He has been throwing fits about everything. I had a horrible night tonight trying to get him to lay down and sleep. I ended up having to just let him cry it out. I HATE doing that, but it just made him more mad when I went in to try to calm him down because he wanted me to hold him.
After about 10 headache inducing, heartbreaking minutes he finally fell asleep. I think I really need a vacation...
Anyway, we have had some fun for the last couple days, parts of today included. Yesterday we got Grampa Rick's box-something happened with the mail and it was late. But it was like a second birthday. Trevor really had fun opening the presents.

He liked all of the presents, but he really loved the camo hoodie. I decided to try it on him, and he played for about 40 minutes while wearing it...

Brian, Misty and Belle got Trevor a Seahawks jersey for his birthday and he wore it tonight while we watched the game. I have to say he looked quite cute in it.

Tomorrow I will try to work on a random Smilebox from the past week.
Tonight I just need to realx and enjoy the peace and quiet while I can...

I cannot believe that Trevor is one! It is crazy how time passes so fast.
We had a fun day today. Trevor started his morning playing with Grammy Cheryl...
