Dakota Kisses

Now that Trevor can walk, he loves to play chase with Dakota. Dakota tries to kiss Trevor and Trevor will run. Someday we will try to put a video of that up, but for now here is a picture...

I took Trevor to the doctor and as I expected, he has a yeast infection on his skin. I got some medicine and the doc said is should start getting better in a few days.

He spent a good portion of the night play with his Fill-N-Spill Fish. He really likes opening and closing it's mouth.

And finally, when he couldn't get the fish back open, he turned around and started yelling at me to open it!

Hopefully we will have some fun this weekend and have a lot to blog about....Have a great Labor Day weekend!

A Better Day

I am glad to report that Trevor has been pretty happy since Steve has been home. He still has a pretty bad diaper rash, and I think I am going to take him in later today or tomorrow to get it checked out.

Yesterday Trevor was bugging Steve when he was trying to work on the computer, and he thought that he was pretty funny...

When he was finally done bothering Steve, he decided to read a little (yes, the book is upside down), until Dakota distracted him...

And here he is this morning looking at the computer while I was trying to get this blog done...

Well, that is all the news for now. I will try to update tomorrow....who know what will happen next!

Mosquito Bites and Diaper Rash...

Trevor has had a bad couple of days. He has 4 mosquito bites on his forehead from our walk the other evening. And he has a horrible diaper rash that seems to have come out of nowhere. I gave him a bath today with Oatmeal soap to try to make his rash feel better. Here is a picture of him playing on our bed after his bath...

(The bites are above his right eye.) As you can see, he wasn't too pleased with getting his rash cream put on, so he threw it!

Nevertheless, Trevor was still sooo happy that his daddy is finally back, so we had some fun time playing and I got some good smiles out of him....Here are some pics!

I think we will be taking a trip to the doctor to get his diaper rash looked at, just in case. I will update you on the visit as soon as I can. Here's hoping Trevor's week goes a little better!

Teeth

So, Trevor's top left front tooth has been trying to break through his gums for a couple weeks now. But today I noticed that his top right tooth is trying to pop out now too. So I think they will be like his bottom teeth and come in one right after the other.

I think he is feeling a little better (and so am I) but we will see if it goes totally away in the next few days. I wanted to take him to the pool or something, but I will have to wait too see if he is better on Monday.

Today Trevor had some of those Club Crackers with Cheddar Cheese in the middle. He liked them, but mashed some into the floor, so I had to vacuum right after he got done eating.

I plan on putting up a video once Steve gets back.

First Day

Today is our first blog!

Trevor and I are both sick, and Steve is in Idaho for the weekend, so needless to say, today hasn't been real great. Hopefully with the new day tomorrow things will be better.

Trevor almost has a top tooth showing. I think on top of being sick, that is really bothering him.

He is doing soooo well at walking, but I am not qualifying him as a walker just yet! Here he is after he walked over to the door to let Dakota inside!

He is also great at climbing in his chair...I suppose it is time to move it out of the living room!

These pictures were taken a couple of weeks ago, but you get the idea. Steve has the camera, so no new pics won't be up until after Monday. Time for this sick lady to go to bed!
